If you’re looking to improve your skin tone, texture and stimulate collagen for smoother, more even, youthful skin, Halo+BBL is the combo treatment you need!

What are Halo and BBL?

Halo is a hybrid fractional laser that uses ablative wavelengths to target texture concerns on the outer layer of skin, and non-ablative wavelengths to target collagen in deeper layers of skin.

BBL is Broadband Light (the more advanced version of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), and it targets all forms of pigmentation, redness and rosacea.

Halo and BBL are the perfect combo!

They are often combined because they work synergistically, meaning their combined effect is greater than either treatment alone, allowing for a more comprehensive skin rejuvenation, addressing both texture and pigmentation issues.

This combo treatment stimulates the body’s natural healing response to produce healthy new tissue and collagen. As the skin recovers from this treatment, it becomes smoother, tighter, and brighter with fewer signs of UV damage.

Halo and BBL technology allows for a customizable, precise treatment unique to each patient’s needs.

Halo can improve:

  • Rough skin texture
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Laxity
  • Scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Dark spots and discoloration

BBL, a light therapy treatment, gently heats the skin and can help with a variety of vascular and pigment issues, as well as improve elasticity and plumpness through collagen stimulation.

BBL can improve:

  • Sun damage like sun spots, age spots, hyperpigmentation, and freckles
  • Acne and acne scars
  • Rosacea and general redness
  • Spider veins
  • Collagen stimulation: like Halo, BBL also heats the deeper layers of skin to help with wrinkles, fine lines, firmness and elasticity

Post-procedure expectations

Downtime for this procedure depends on many factors. If you have a more aggressive treatment, your downtime will be longer. Average downtime can be anywhere from 3-10 days. Your provider will discuss what you should and should not do during this time while your skin heals.

Healing from Halo+ BBL can involve:

  • Redness
  • Peeling
  • Dry skin
  • Potential swelling
  • MENDS (Microscopic Epidermal Necrotic Debris): these look like tiny dots and it is all the dermal debris in the deeper layers of skin coming out.

Fresh face results:

Once you’ve healed, you will have wonderful, long lasting results that will give you glowing smoother, tighter, brighter skin with less visible pores, fewer lines, and better clarity for a long time to come. Halo+BBL can be done once a year and other treatments can be used for skin maintenance, like microneedling, BBL as a stand-alone treatment, less intense laser treatments like Moxi, and Salt Facial or Hydrafacial.
